About me

I made music since my early childhood.

I studied classical piano at the “Giuseppe Tartini” Conservatory in Trieste, sung in a children choir for seven years, and I have been a palmero in a flamenco band.

I am the first and only Italian graduated in Tango music and bandoneón at the Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam (2007-2011).

Since 2011 I am the bandoneon player of the world recognised Tango Spleen Orquesta.

I also have a degree and PhD in Experimental Physics, and I have been a researcher in material science at the Elettra Synchrotron Radiation Facility in Trieste for a decade. That was fun, but eventually music was the choice.

Nowadays I keep in touch with my scientific self by taking care of administration, logistics and sound engineering for Tango Spleen.

One of my childhood dreams was to be a woodworker. Eventually I fulfilled it by owning a small workshop where I carry on personal projects and specially restoration and tuning work on bandoneóns.
